This clear protective screen is intended for use in machine tools for machining with water-oil based cooling lubricants. They are attached to the inside of the machine tool's protective screen as a supplement. They do not replace this machine guard and are not intended as a repair for a defective machine guard. Dry machining and very hot chips, e.g. during high feed milling, can damage the surface and have a negative effect. The clear protective screen is not intended for use in ATEX areas.
